Within the context of the corporate social responsibility policy of VIOS Software Solutions and the humanitarian dimension of my VIOS, we are proud to announce, the acceptance, from the Red Cross Hospital of Greece, of our donation of 500 my VIOS USBs. The USBs will be distributed to patients of the Hemodialysis Unit (Artificial Kidney Unit) with chronic conditions, in order to help them move freely within Greece and receive their hemodialysis treatment at any given time and place. With this donation, we hope to contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of these patients.

“I remain of the conviction that anyone who ever had to deal, with a serious health issue, will quickly agree that the most dangerous and the most inhumane inequality is not to have ready access to the products of the evolution of science and technology.

This is where my-VIOS comes into the picture.

My VIOS was presented at the Global Summit on Women Empowerment at the United Nations Headquarters, from Mrs Evi Photopoulos in New York at  30 /4/2016.

As part of our 2016 promotional plan for my VIOS, we aimed in making our product known to the world and promote its humanitarian dimension. During these activities, we were honored with the opportunity to present our product and activities around the world, at the UN Global Summit on Women Empowerment.

“ Charity is no substitute, for justice withheld! That was said by Saint Augustine, a Christian preacher, born and bred in North Africa in about 400 ac and also a thinker.

To me personally, Charity, in the sense of  humanism is not
and it cannot be a substitute for justice…
We are here today to make the world More fair! To make the world better than it is!  And everyone in this room has been charitable, in a way, at once in their life. Either by offering humanitarian aid, or by supporting other humanitarian acts.  I truly believe that people do support humanitarian acts, with all their hearts but are they actually fair?

It is fair for a child that lives in India, to have his own personal health file, same as a child in England, and  not just Health services, upon a medical need.

It is fair for a child that lives in Ethiopia, and is malnourished, to have not just food, but to be supported by health services and family counsel.

It is fair For the aid that comes from the UN, to be delivered to those, who really need it in a way that it cannot be disputed.

It is fair, For all the beneficiaries, tο have equal access to the humanitarian aid, to goods and services. And not access for some more others.

It is fair for us, the people of the UN, and for all those who watch our social contribution around the world, closely, to measure the results of our actions, in a reliable way and make these results available for everyone.

Today I am here, to show you, a new way, to achieve that!

My VIOS was born in Africa and there it shall return. This is our commitment.
VIOS was presented at the Pan Africain Film Festival, from Mrs Evi Photopoulos in Cannes at 16 /4/2016. As part of VIOS Software Solution’s corporate social responsibility policy, the Company donated 1000 my VIOS USBs to the Douala Hospital in Cameroun.   

People from every corner of Africa, who were there for the Festival, showed great interest in learning the history of VIOS, a high tech product that started as an idea, from Nairobi, Kenya and today aims to reach every country on the planet.

“And this is the true story behind the inception of my-VIOS
In September 2012, in Nairobi, Kenya, during a special gathering for various businessmen, a young African, Eric, decided to share his story, a story of violence & crime, that resulted in his immediate transfer to the ER with a bullet whole in his chest. Three days after that, there was terrorist attack, the worst in the country’s history that became known as “West Gate”.

And then a decision was made! Every African Citizen in order to deal with:

• the long distances of the continent
• the non – existent, unfortunately, health structures
• the serious health issues that plague large parts of Africa’s population such us HIV
• the unexpected dangers

Has to be able to collect efficiently and by themselves
their health data and keep them on his/her person at all times.
